Determining When a System Was Installed

Environment

AIX Version 4.3 - 5.1 


Problem

How can you find out When a system was installed? 


Solution

Enter the following command: 

lslpp -h bos.rte

The output of this command will show the history of when the operating system 
was installed. Read the entry for the AIX level (ie, 4.3.3.0).
